PHILOSOPHY OF CARE
The Women’s Health Unit strives to deliver a high standard of practice and care by ensuring our care is patient-centred and privacy and dignity is maintained at all times.
The Women’s Health Unit will do this by providing our clients, their families and other service users with evidence-based, high quality, cost effective care in a safe, clean and comfortable environment.
The purpose of the Women’s Health Unit is to facilitate:

Day case gynaecology surgery

A termination of pregnancy service

Care for early pregnancy problems

A variety of clinics performing small procedures and investigations

Ward attenders
-
Direct and emergency department referralsThe unit provides a daytime service between the hours of 7am and 10pm, 7 days a week.
